From 4 to 9 June, Emilie Andéol and Ippon Technologies volunteers flew to a brand new destination for the Ippon Foundation: Sao Tome and Principe, in the Gulf of Guinea, facing Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
The Team has installed and inaugurated 2 digital schools offering 20 computers in a primary school and a high school . This project was built with the Didier Drogba Foundation and allows more than 3000 children to have access to the computer tool, which for the most part was completely unknown to them.
From 7 to 11 May, 4 volunteer employees of Ippon Technologies left for Aného in Togo to install and inaugurate 2 computer rooms in 2 primary schools with the Vémianou Association . From 2 to 6 April 2022, our Ippon Technologies volunteers, accompanied by Emilie Andeol, installed and inaugurated 2 computer rooms with the Didier Drogba Foundation. This donation of 30 computers will allow students of the primary school and the Lycée Moderne BAD N’Douci to access the digital tool, key element for their future success.
The RHFCU was founded 84 years ago by African-American teachers and school leaders to provide banking, lending and financial services to disadvantaged populations.
Today, they’re in a fragile position with membership, labor and technology to secure the future. Ippon both negotiated a year of free customer service and set up the tool. The first email was sent on Thursday, February 25th to celebrate Black History Month containing special loan promotions.
TOGETHER we hope to help RHFCU reach its hundredth anniversary !
From February 11-17, 2022, the Ippon Foundation flew to the island of Mayotte with a team composed of Émilie Andéol and 5 Ippon Technologies volunteers. The objective of this project was to inaugurate two computer rooms : the Kahani Elementary School and the Doujani Elementary School with 20 computers, educational software and teacher training on site. We also brought nearly 280 kgs of school materials for children (books, notebooks, pens, pencils, books, games, etc.) that we collected through a collection at our Ippon agencies in France and close to partner companies.
We are working to raise funds to support about a dozen highly acclaimed Afghan women who recently fled Kabul and are currently residing in temporary housing in the Washington, DC area.
These women are prominent journalists, human rights advocates, translators, and musicians who were most at risk of persecution from the Taliban. In order for them to safely share their personal experiences and advocate for Afghan women and girls, they need our support to build a new beginning for themselves and their families.
The goal of this fundraiser is to raise enough money to offset the costs being incurred by these remarkable women and their family members that have been granted humanitarian parole visas. A small group of volunteers will collaborate with outside subject matter experts to implement a vetting and reporting process to qualify potential beneficiaries.
From October 30 to November 3, 2021, 5 Ippon Technologies volunteers and Emilie Andeol flew to Togo to inaugurate 2 computer rooms with the Vémianou Association. The St Joseph Technical Institute of Segbe and the Catholic School Complex of La Salle received 10 computer stations respectively. One more page in the fight against the digital divide!
From September 25 to 29, 2021, 4 volunteer employees of Ippon Technologies accompanied by Emilie Andeol went to inaugurate 2 computer rooms with the Didier Drogba Foundation. The schools of Ahoué and Brofodoumé received 10 computer stations respectively, which will allow the children to familiarize themselves with these new tools that will be real assets for their future.
