Fondation Didier Drogba

The Context

In spite of the health crisis, we wanted to maintain our partnership with the Didier Drogba Foundation for the end of the year.

For the first time we went to a region far from Abidjan, to the Agni country in Niablé near Ghana.

This region has 1000000 inhabitants far from the capital which used to be a great cocoa farming area.

The project

During our stay we installed three digital classrooms in two schools in the town of Niablé.

The elementary school of Niablé which celebrates this year its 100 years. This class of 10 computer stations will allow to sensitize the children from the youngest age to the computer tools and to be able to pass to the higher level by being accustomed.

The Nanan Kouakou Kouao High School in Niablé, which has 2,000 students (junior high and high school), we have equipped with two computer rooms. These two rooms will allow the young people to deepen their pedagogical work and to make them aware of the digital professions.

The partner

The Didier Drogba Foundation, created in 2007, has targeted education as a priority since its inception. After having, notably, distributed several thousand school kits and financed the opening of an elementary school, the Didier Drogba Foundation has decided to commit itself alongside the Ippon Foundation, as of 2018 by participating in projects in Vitré, Abidjan and Casablanca.

It continues its independent actions, notably on the themes of health and empowerment of populations, but has as its exclusive partner the Ippon Foundation in education through computer tools.
