Mathieu used to be a a part of the Ippon Technologies staff as the Product owner. He had to put his professional part of his career on hold and focus on sporting part of it. He is aiming the qualifications for the Paralympic games in Tokyo in this year.

He won the bronze medal in 2017 in simple category for men. Europe Rodez championship in the same category in France 2018, bronze medal and silver in double.
